A Week to Restore Mobility, Breath and Balance

This retreat offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the practice of GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® in the calm and beauty of the French countryside.
Over the course of a full week, participants explore a movement approach designed to restore spinal mobility, improve posture and reconnect breath with movement. The method combines fluid circular motions, coordinated breathing and deep muscular work to support both strength and flexibility while promoting a sense of ease throughout the body.
Each day includes guided GYROKINESIS® classes, practiced on the mat or a chair, as well as GYROTONIC® sessions on the Pulley Tower, allowing participants to experience the method in both its group and equipment-based forms. The work gently mobilizes the joints, lengthens the spine and develops a balanced relationship between stability and freedom of movement.
Morning
GYROKINESIS® class focusing on spinal mobility and breathing.
Late morning
Brunch and free time.
Afternoon
GYROTONIC® sessions or movement exploration.
Evening
Relaxation, quiet time or walks in nature.
The retreat takes place in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by forests and natural landscapes. Away from the rhythm of daily life, this environment offers the ideal conditions to slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with the body. Time is intentionally left between sessions so that participants can rest, walk in nature or simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the countryside.
The group is intentionally small in order to ensure personal attention and allow each participant to progress at their own pace. The retreat is open to both beginners who wish to discover the method and practitioners who want to deepen their experience of spiral movement, breath awareness and spinal health.
By the end of the week, participants often report a renewed sense of alignment, greater freedom in their movements and a deeper connection between breath, posture and overall well-being.
A Week Structured Around Movement and Restoration
Each day follows a gentle rhythm designed to support both practice and relaxation.
Morning sessions are devoted to GYROKINESIS®, exploring spinal mobility, breath and fluid sequences that awaken the body and encourage a natural sense of expansion.
Afternoons include GYROTONIC® sessions or movement explorations, offering a more individualized experience using the Pulley Tower equipment and other movement exercises.
The rest of the day is left open for rest, walks in the surrounding countryside, reading, or quiet reflection.
A Retreat Focused on Quality and Attention
Participation is limited to a small number of guests to ensure a supportive and attentive learning environment. This allows each participant to receive personalized guidance and to explore the movements in a way that respects their own body and rhythm.
The retreat is designed not only as a week of physical practice, but as an opportunity to restore balance, cultivate awareness and rediscover the pleasure of moving freely.
About the Teacher
Estelle Brack has been practicing GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® since 2008. Her teaching combines technical precision with a deep respect for individual anatomy. She is particularly interested in the relationship between alignment, breath and the natural fluidity of movement, helping participants rediscover ease, space and balance in their bodies.
Her approach emphasizes the quality of movement, the clarity of positioning and the development of a practice that supports both physical vitality and long-term well-being.
